The NAIA has announced the baseball players that have been named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The Bryan College Baseball Program had three different student-athletes honored for their performance in the classroom:
Jonathan Davis,
Ben Young, and
Daniel Zimmerman.
In order to receive this honor each student-athlete must be nominated by each institution's head coach, have maintained a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, and have achieved junior academic status to qualify. The nominee also has to have been in attendance at the nominating institution for two full academic years as a non-transfer student or a minimum of one full academic year as a transfer student.
