The Bryan College Baseball Program is proud to announce the signing of Matt Jensen. He recently graduated from Grace Baptist Academy in Chattanooga, TN. He is signing as a Pitcher/Corner Infielder. Matt started every game as cleanup hitter for Grace this past year. He finished the season hitting .295 with 26 RBI, 6 HR, 17 Runs, .389 OBP and .506 Slugging. On the mound, he had 8 appearances and had 35 strikeouts in 27 innings. Matt was 2-time Honorable Mention All-District.

Bryan College Head Coach Taylor Hasty commented, "Matt is a solid young man with a good work ethic. He still has some developing to do but he has a bright future. He is a solid teammate of upstanding character and I look forward to having him in our program."

"Matt has improved drastically over the last two seasons. His fastball is consistently in the low 80s and he has three other pitches he throws for a strike. Matt will develop into a very good college pitcher. His best years are definitely ahead of him. Matt has been a great player to coach and a good person to be around. Bryan got a steal who will do well for years to come," stated Grace Head Coach Rustin Pierce.
