The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics recently released the list of recipients of the 2009-2010 NAIA Scholar Team award. The Bryan College women's volleyball team was a recipient of the award as they had a team grade point average of 3.49. They had the 20th highest gpa of all NAIA women's volleyball teams in the nation.
  
For a team to be considered for the NAIA Scholar Team award, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average must include all varsity student-athletes certified as eligible.
