The Lions wrapped up their preseason scrimmages last night. Bryan hosted Freed-Hardeman on Monday night and traveled to Lee University on Wednesday night. The Lions scored in both exhibition matches while holding both of their opponents scoreless.

On Monday night, the scrimmage consisted of three thirty-minute periods. The Lions were able to put the ball in the back of the net twice. On Wednesday night at Lee, the Lions scored the only goal of the evening in the second of the three twenty-minute periods that were played.

The Lions now have a week-and-a-half of practices to finish any fine tuning that might be needed before their opening game. Their first match will be Saturday, August 28, at home against the University of the Cumberlands. Kickoff time is scheduled for 7:30pm ET.
