The Bryan College Women's Basketball schedule was just released by Head Coach Christian Papp. In addition to playing Tennessee Tech (NCAA Division 1), the Lions have scheduled some of the best programs in the country during the pre-conference part of their schedule. Two NAIA-I National Tournament participants highlight the month of November. Early on, the Lions will take on Lee University, who made it all the way to the "Final Four" last season. The team will then travel to Williamsburg, KY, to face off against University of the Cumberlands, who made it to the "Sweet 16."

Regarding the challenging pre-conference schedule, first-year Head Coach Christian Papp said, "If you want to do anything great in March, you have to play the best early on. You need a barometer to measure yourself against. I look forward to supporting our girls as we test our abilities vs. these outstanding opponents."

The Lions return four of their starters from last season and look to improve on a 16-14 season record. Coach Papp said, "We've got an experienced core of players. From watching the team this summer, I'm excited about the contributions we should get from the other returners, as well as a talented freshman class."
