Head Coach
Rocky Stinson comes to Bryan from Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, KY. Coach Stinson headed up the softball program for three seasons and guided them to 3 NCCAA National Tournament appearances. He also serves the NCCAA as the National Vice-Chair for softball, and will continue this role from Bryan College.
A native of Hickman County, TN, Coach Stinson is familiar with the softball talent in Tennessee, especially the area around the college.
He has also worked as an assistant baseball coach in 2006, in which the Baseball program made its first National Tournament appearance.
Rocky's playing career consisted of 4 years at Mid-Continent under, then head coach, Seth Zartman (current head coach at Bethel College in Indiana). He was a third baseman, and was in the starting pitching rotation his senior year. During his junior and senior year he was a team captain, and was also named NCCAA Mid-East Regional Team Honorable Mention.
Coach Stinson will come to Bryan with his Masters of Science in Human Development and Leadership from Murray State (KY). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology & Counseling and in Social Studies from Mid-Continent in May of 2003.
Rocky and his wife, Jessica, currently reside in Dayton, TN.
