To Visiting Team Athletic Trainers:
On behalf of our staff, we would like to welcome you to Bryan College and to provide you with important information regarding your visit to our campus. The following is a list of supplies and services that we will offer to you and your athletes:
· A certified athletic trainer will be present at all sport venues.
· Water, cups, ice, and emergency equipment (AED, splint, crutches, etc.).
· The athletic training facility, located adjacent to Summers Gymnasium at the gym floor level, will be open before and after all events.
· Our athletic training facility has modalities (heat packs, ultrasound, and E-stim units) and a taping station for your use and the use of your athletes.
· If you are not sending an ATC or you are sending a student athletic trainer with your athletes, please send a signed form stating what modalities your athletes will need prior to competition. Also, please include with your team any items or supplies that would be necessary to help us care for your athletes.
· Please notify us if a Certified Athletic Trainer will not be present during a competition at your site, so we can make plans for an athletic trainer to travel with our team.
· Please note that the soccer, baseball, and softball playing fields are not adjacent to the athletic training room. Should you require access to any of these modalities/items, please contact a member of the Athletic Training staff to make the necessary arrangements.
