Wendy Vork is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Lady Lions basketball program. She spent the previous two years as a member of the Lady Lions team, after transferring from Modesto Community College. Vork originally hails from Kingston, Idaho. She will be primarily responsible for helping coach the junior varsity team, assisting with varsity practices & games, as well as working with the student-athletes on the academic front. Between high school and college, Vork spent several years on the mission field and attending New Tribes Institute, learning more about the Bible and missions. "Wendy is truly a blessing", said head coach Jamy Bechler, "She was a captain for us last year and she is very well-respected. I think a great deal of her. Being older, she has a lot more experiences and perspective to draw upon in helping the girls become both better players and better people. I am extremely glad that she decided to join our staff this year."
