        <title>[Men's Basketball] Lions Edge Cobras Once Again</title>

        <description>&lt;div&gt;The Bryan College men's basketball team came from behind on Thursday night at home to defeat the Cobras of Virginia Intermont College. The two teams swapped the lead back and forth 12 times in the first half before going into halftime with the score 34-32 in favor of the Cobras. V.I. led the majority of the second half, but not by much. With 2:33 remaining in the game, the Lions were trailing 72-66 before going on a 9-1 run to win the game.&lt;/div&gt;

        <title>[Baseball] Baseball Dominates on Opening Day</title>

The Lions started the season in the best way possible. In the first inning the defense got the first three batters they faced out, striking out the first two batters; meanwhile the offense put up five runs in their first at bat, including a lead-off home run and three-run home run.&lt;/div&gt;&amp;nbsp;</description>

        <title>[Women's Basketball] Lady Lions Start Slow, Fight Back, Then Fall Short</title>

        <description>&lt;div&gt;The Bryan College Women's Basketball Team made an incredible come back during their game on Thursday at home against the #RV Virginia Intermont College. The Lady Lions started the game very slow, falling behind by as many as 16 points in the first half and being down 35-21 at halftime. However, they kicked it into high gear in the second half. They slowly worked their way back into the game and even took a two-point lead, 65-63, with 3:43 left in the game. The two teams swapped the lead a few times over the next few minutes. The Lady Cobras had a one-point lead with a minute remaining. They hit two free throws to go up three points with 27 seconds left. Bryan came down and drew a foul and hit both to attempts to get back within one point. The Lady Lions fouled immediately and V.I. hit both free throws to go back up three points with 12 seconds remaining. Bryan brought the ball down court and got a three-point attempt off but it fell short, leaving the score 72-69 in favor of V.I.&lt;/div&gt;

        <title>[Men's Basketball] Lions Battle Back but Fall Short</title>

        <description>The Bryan College men's basketball team went on the road on Tuesday evening to take on the Cavaliers of Montreat College in a conference game. The Lions trailed by five at halftime and were down by as many as 15 points early in the second half. However, they crawled their way back to within one point with under a minute remaining in the game. Montreat went to the free throw line with 35 seconds left, hit the first attempt, and then missed the second attempt. Bryan got the rebound, came down the floor, and shot a three-pointer to take the lead but couldn't get it to fall through. The Lions immediately had to foul, and the Cavaliers hit both of their free throws to go up four points. Montreat committed a foul, sending Bryan to the free throw line with 1.5 seconds on the clock. The Lions hit the first one and missed the second attempt on purpose but were unable to secure the rebound. Bryan lost the closely battled game by a final score of 78-75.</description>

The Lady Cavaliers are currently receiving votes to be ranked in the top 25 in the nation.&amp;nbsp;The Lady Lions struggled through the entire game as they went into the locker room at halftime trailing 43-23. Bryan played better in the second half but was still outscored 39-32 for the half.&lt;/div&gt;&amp;nbsp;</description>

&lt;div&gt;Leading the charge for the Lions on Friday afternoon was three-time All-American Bryson Harper (Pikeville, Tenn. - SR) who finished fourth in the men's mile at 4:13.26, after a slow opening half (2:10.62). Teammate Alex Stephens (Cleveland, Tenn. - SO) took 4:20.54 to cover the mile, which qualified him for the National Championship along with Harper. The men currently stand at number 3 and number 19 nationally. Stephens raced to his second lifetime best of 1:57.20 in the 800 meters on Saturday.&lt;/div&gt;&amp;nbsp;</description>

However, the Bryan College men's basketball team found themselves with the short end of the stick, so to speak. The Bulldogs of Tennessee Wesleyan hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime where the Lions were outscored 12-9 to lose by a final score of 107-104.&lt;/div&gt;

The Lady Bulldogs are currently ranked #20 in the nation.&amp;nbsp; The Lady Lions were never able to get a lead in the game. In the first half, they trailed by as much as 16 points as they headed into the break down 33-17. In the second half, Tennessee Wesleyan continued to pull away with the final score being their largest lead of the night.&lt;/div&gt;

        <title>[Men's Basketball] Lions Win Conference Game on the Road</title>

        <description>&lt;p&gt;The Bryan College Men's Basketball Team traveled to Union College to take on the Bulldogs in a conference game on Saturday evening. The Lions scored the last eight points of the game to win by a final score of 73-66.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;div&gt;The two teams went back and forth for the first eight minutes of the game. Then the Lions built up their largest lead of the half at nine points. The Bulldogs got back within one point. The two teams went into halftime with the score 31-28, in favor of Bryan. Union started the second half on a 16-3 run to go up 10 points. The Lions followed that with an 8-0 run to get right back into the game, but did not take the lead back until 1:51 remaining. Bryan was down 66-65 with 1:30 on the clock before rattling off the last eight points of the game for the win.&lt;/div&gt;

        <description>&lt;p&gt;The Bryan College Women's Basketball Team traveled to Union College on Saturday to take on the Lady Bulldogs in a conference game. The Lady Lions lost by a final score of 83-70.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;div&gt;The two teams went back and forth throughout the first half. The Lady Lions led by as many as six points, while the Lady Bulldogs led by as many as five points. The two teams went into the break with Bryan trailing 44-42. The Lady Lions cut the lead down to one point, 51-50, with 13:47 remaining; however, that was as close as they would get as the Lady Bulldogs then rattled off 15 unanswered points for their largest lead of the game. Union was able to hold Bryan off for the rest of the game.&lt;/div&gt;

Knudsen is currently a senior at North Gwinnett High School where she has lead her team to state playoffs, reaching the Sweet 16 in 2009 and Elite 8 in 2010. She has received several individual awards for her efforts including: the Coaches Award (2008); MVP of the Collins Hill Classic (2010); selected All-Area, All-County and All-State first team (2010). Kelsea's 2010 team was awarded Gwinnett County Team of the Year (2010)&amp;nbsp;and was inducted into NGHS's Hall of Fame (2012).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

He is currently playing his senior season for Chattanooga Christian School. Arnold is a 6'2&quot; shooting guard. This year he is averaging 14.7 points per game, 4.1 rebounds per game, and 3.1 assists per game. As a junior, he averaged 15 points per game, 5.9 rebounds per game, and 3.2 assists per game and was named to the regular season All-District Team, All-District Tournament Team, and All-Region Tournament Team.&lt;/div&gt;

        <title>[Men's Basketball] Lions Defeat Eagles by Three</title>

        <description>&lt;p&gt;The Bryan College Men's Basketball Team hosted the Eagles of Reinhardt University in a conference game on Wednesday night. The Lions held their home court advantage to win the game by a final score of 71-68.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;div&gt;With the score tied at seven-all, the Lions went on a 9-0 run to take the lead for the rest of the game. Their largest lead of the first half came at the break as they went into the locker room leading 31-21. Bryan's largest lead of the game was 41-26 with 16:38 remaining in the game. However, the Eagles went on a 12-0 run to get back in the game. Reinhardt cut the lead down to one point with 28 seconds remaining, but the Lions hit two free throws with 22 seconds remaining to get the final spread.&lt;/div&gt;
