The Bryan College baseball team jumped all over the Tennessee Temple Crusaders early in the game, defeating the Crusaders 10-2. The Lions' record improves to 10-2 overall. This is the quickest a team has earned ten wins since Bryan restarted the program ten years ago.

The Lions scored six runs (one run in the first, one run in the second, two in the third, and two in the fourth) before the Crusaders had a run cross the plate. Temple knocked in two runs in the fifth, but Bryan turned around and scored three more runs in the bottom of the inning. The Lions scored one more in the eighth inning.

The Bryan College baseball team played three games over the weekend as part of the Tennessee Valley Invitational that they host every year. After opening the invitational with a win on Thursday, the Lions defeated Saint Xavier University and Asbury University on Friday. The Lions lost just their second game of the year on Saturday to #23 Madonna University.

The Bryan College baseball team kicked off the Tennessee Valley Invitational, which they host every year, with a win over the University of Rio Grande. The Lions swept the RedStorm last weekend in a three-game series and were able to hold them off once again. Bryan scored three runs in the first inning and then two runs in the second to jump out on top 5-0. Rio Grande scored their first run in the fourth inning. The Lions added three more runs in the bottom of the inning to take a commanding lead. The RedStorm refused to go away as they scored two runs in the fifth and then four runs in the seventh and final inning to get within one run, but the Lions were able to close out the inning without giving up the lead.

The Bryan College baseball team swept the RedStorm of the University of Rio Grande over the weekend. It was the coldest weekend of the year so far in Dayton. If fact, Saturday's first game started while there was snow falling. But the Lions pushed through the poor weather conditions, dominating the first two games and winning the third game.
