Boone, N.C. - The Bryan College Track & Field team visited Southern Conference power Appalachian State at the Appalachian State Open held inside the Mountaineer's Holmes Center. The Lions produced twelve top 5 finishes, including two victors as they head toward the NAIA National Championship in two weeks.

Bloomington, Ind. - Bryan College Track & Field headed back to Indiana University's Gladstein Fieldhouse for the 2012 version of the Hoosier Hills Invitational. The Lions came away with four top-10 place finishes through the weekend and had one school record lowered.

Bloomington, Ind. - Bryan College Track and Field collected four NAIA qualifying marks over the weekend at the Indiana Relays inside the Harry Gladstein Fieldhouse.

Leading the charge for the Lions on Friday afternoon was three-time All-American Bryson Harper (Pikeville, Tenn. - SR) who finished fourth in the men's mile at 4:13.26, after a slow opening half (2:10.62). Teammate Alex Stephens (Cleveland, Tenn. - SO) took 4:20.54 to cover the mile, which qualified him for the National Championship along with Harper. The men currently stand at number 3 and number 19 nationally. Stephens raced to his second lifetime best of 1:57.20 in the 800 meters on Saturday.

Blacksburg, Va. - A small group of the Bryan College Men's Track & Field team traveled north to compete in Virginia Tech's Hokie Invitational over the weekend. The men took third in the distance medley relay and captured a new school record in the process, crossing the line at 10:05.55 inside Rector Fieldhouse. The record had stood since the 2008 Indoor season.
