Thu, Aug 26, 2010 - [Women's Basketball]
The Bryan College Women's Basketball schedule was just released by Head Coach Christian Papp. In addition to playing Tennessee Tech (NCAA Division 1), the Lions have scheduled some of the best programs in the country during the pre-conference part of their schedule. Two NAIA-I National Tournament participants highlight the month of November. Early on, the Lions will take on Lee University, who made it all the way to the "Final Four" last season. The team will then travel to Williamsburg, KY, to face off against University of the Cumberlands, who made it to the "Sweet 16."

The Bryan College Athletics Department is proud to announce the hiring of Christian Papp as the new Head Women's Basketball Coach. Coach Papp has several years of experience as an assistant women's coach at various intercollegiate levels. He will use this experience to try and propel the Lady Lions towards a conference championship.

The Appalachian Athletic Conference has release the women's regular season awards winners for 2009-2010. The Lady Lions had seven different student-athletes receive honors for either their performance on the floor or in the classroom.
