The Bryan College women's basketball team traveled to Reinhardt University this evening. The Lions trailed by as many as 10 points in the first half. Bryan closed the half on a 9-0 run and went into the break behind 24-23. The two teams swapped the lead for the first ten minutes of the second half. The Lions then went on a 15-0 run to take control of the game. Bryan won by a final score of 63-51. The Lions are now 7-3 overall and 4-0 in the AAC.
The Bryan College women's basketball team hosted Point University tonight. The game was close in the first half as there were five ties and two lead changes. Bryan took a 34-32 lead into halftime. In the second half, the Lions defense locked down the Skyhawks as they held them to just 13 points on 17.2% shooting for the half. Offensively, the team shot 57.7% in the second half and pulled away to a 78-45 victory. The Bryan women are now 6-3 overall and 3-0 in the AAC.
Megan Billingsby led the Lions with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Taylor Neuharth finished with 16 points. Keila Formont added 10 points and 4 rebounds. Kristin Lane recorded 9 points and 6 rebounds. Rachel Calfee and Jenna Ray had 7 points and 4 rebounds apiece.
The Bryan College women's basketball team hosted Southeastern University tonight. The Lions had a 29-26 lead heading into the break. The Fire won the second half 28-25 to send the game into overtime. The Lions outscored their opponent 9-6 in extra time to win 63-60. The Bryan women are now 5-3 on the season.
Jenna Ray led the Lions with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Kristin Lane finished with 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Victoria Griffin added 7 points. Taylor Neuharth recorded 6 points. Megan Billingsby, Kelsey Brooks, and Keila Formont had 6 points apiece. Billingsy also had 4 rebounds; Brooks had 5 rebounds and 3 steals; and Formont had 6 steals and 4 rebounds.
