On a wet, yet sunny afternoon, the Bryan College Baseball team got off to a hot start for the 2010 season. The visiting Truett-McConnell Bears played well, but could not seem to stop the Lions' offense. The Lions scored in 8 of 12 innings yesterday on their way to beating the Bears 8-5 and 7-4.

As the program enters its 8th season, the Lions are poised to make major strides in the right direction. The 2009 recruiting class added 15 new faces to the squad to go with the 4 redshirts and 12 returning letter winners, who will now be taking the field with the Lions. "I really like the team we will be putting on the field this spring," says Head Coach Taylor Hasty, "They have been committed to working hard all Fall, both in the classroom and on the field."

The Bryan College Baseball team helped Frazier Elementary School put on their Fall Festival last Saturday, November 7. The baseball players manned different games, rides, a maze, and several giant inflatable games, helping a few hundred young kids have a fun celebration of Fall in their many different costumes. "We had a lot of fun, I just wish I had had something like this when I was in elementary school!" commented Senior infielder Ryan Henn.
