The 2013 Capital One Academic All-District ® Softball Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, were recently announced and recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Bryan College's Jill Davis and Katie Vaughn were selected to the District 4 College Division's First Team.

The AAC released over the week the members of the softball All-Tournament Team. For Bryan, Christine Marino was selected to the team for her performances in the Lady Lions' four tournament games.

The Bryan College softball team played Reinhardt University on Thursday morning in the AAC Tournament. The Lady Lions entered the game as the No. 7 seed while the Lady Eagles were the No. 1 seed. Bryan lost the game 9-1, eliminating them from the tournament.

The Bryan College softball team played Point University on Tuesday in the AAC Tournament. The Lady Lions entered the game as the No. 7 seed while the Lady Skyhawks were the No. 6 seed. Bryan won the game 7-3. The Lady Lions now have an overall record of 22-23.
