Bryan College is pleased to announce the signing of Carrilee Lynn Hiers. She has been named to the All State Girls Golf Team in Georgia the past two years, and she was the region medalist for the past three years. Hiers led her Brooks County High School team to the state tournament this past year, and she has individually finished in the top ten at state for three consecutive years.
The Bryan College men's and women's golf teams are participating in the Union College Fall Invitational on the difficult Wasioto Winds Golf Course in Pineville, Ky. After the first round was played on Monday, Bryan's Dean Hoare leads the men after firing a two under 70. Audrey Nelson of the Lady Lions is in second place for the women after finishing with an 83.

The Bryan Lady Lions took part in the NAIA Fall Preview Tournament. There were some of the top ranked teams in the country that served as a preview for the national NAIA Women's golf tournament that will be played at Greeneville, Tenn., next May. The Lee University Lady Flames won the tournament with a 309-308=617 in a strong field of 15 teams. Two other teams from the AAC, Tennessee Wesleyan and Union, also took part.
Bryan College men and women's golf team participated in the Berea College Invitational in Berea, Ky., on Saturday, September 24. The men took on Asbury, Berea and Indiana East University, while the women went head-to-head against Asbury.
