The NAIA recently announced student-athletes who were named 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Cross Country Scholar-Athletes. Junior Liz Olsen and senior Ericka Simpson were honored from the women's team, while senior Bryson Harper, junior Jason McLeod, junior Alex Stephens, and senior Drew Thompson received the honor for the men's team.

The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced the 2011 AAC Cross Country Academic All-Conference Teams today. The Bryan College women's team had two student-athletes make the team. The men's team had five members named to the team which was more than any other men's team in the conference.

Dayton, TN - The Bryan College cross country men claimed the 2011 AAC Cross Country Championship Saturday morning when they raced over the eight-kilometer layout at Fort Bluff Camp. The win marks the third consecutive victory and fourth in the last five years. The women took the runner-up spot behind team champ Milligan. It was Bryan's first time to host the conference championship.

Rome, GA - Thirteenth-ranked Bryan College raced to victory at the 2011 Southeast Classic hosted on the campus of Berry College Saturday morning. The Lions put two athletes in the top ten and claimed their third consecutive Southeast Classic with a team score of 65 points.
